Kensington Palace has announced it will no longer release details of Kate’s outfits because she wants to concentrate on substance rather than style
A palace source said: “There is an absolute feeling that it [the public work] is not about what the princess is wearing. She wants the focus to be on the really important issues, the people and the causes she is spotlighting. There will always be an appreciation of what the princess is wearing from some of the public and she gets that. But do we need to be officially always saying what she is wearing? No. The style is there but it’s about the substance.”

This is amazing.
One of the easiest ways to do that and to promote sustainability would be to simply reach into her ample closet and re-wear what she already owns.
I feel like this was said a long time ago too? I think if she wants people to focus on her work she needs to work more and focus on being more impactful but her fashion is always going to get attention regardless so I think even if the palace doesn’t release those details the internet will figure out quickly and continue to focus on it… She should use this attention to bring focus to things like sustainability like the time she rented that dress for earthshot and it was all over the internet, and im sure if she rewears constantly like Anne at some point people will start ignoring all the repeated pieces.
(My comment about working more is meant to be in general for when she feels like coming back to work full time I fully understand with all her health issues this last year she hasn’t but in the past it did feel she worked too little)
I understand the sentiment but I suspect it will really just lead to more discussion focused on identification which will spur more dissection
