The people going to fight are Ukrainian migrants and some have dual british citizenship. The media is actively encouraging Ukrainians civilians 24/7 to go fight against Russia. Conflicting messages are being sent out.
So selfish if you have kids and a family to do something like that.
Liz Truss did express a bit too much of a gung-ho attitude towards getting involved in the conflict in Ukraine. Not my idea of a good foreign sec or diplomat, but such is life…
There’s also the matter of it being illegal. Foreign Enlistment Act 1870.
War is not a game and someone with no military experience will be a huge liability in the field. Leave it to the professionals and be thankful you are not in a war zone right now.
