  1. There are all targets, not deadlines – if it takes till 2033 to add enough renewables, pity, but getting there late is not the end of the world.

  2. This is an interesting article to look at 2022 – 2023 trends, would seem to create extreme concern. The issue I have is that they have taken that 2 year trend and simply extrapolated it out 7+ years. Such extrapolation may turn out to be correct, but that type of analysis, although cheap and easy, is more of a quick glance at things if we continue on that pace. It is easy to read, and has references, and so is helpful to bring more attention to the issues.

  3. In the U.S. in particular, it seems as though it is being deliberately vanished. Look at the Canadian tariffs being imposed today. Let’s be honest, it’s a form of warfare. And when the higher prices really begin to hit many Americans, will they blame Trump or Canada? Especially his supporters?

It seems fairly obvious now; they want to steal Canada. Basically. Specifically due to climate change and the perception that this region of the world may be more habitable (plus newly accessible resources). And this is just the first step; get Americans to perceive Canada as an enemy.
