  26. I’d like to try and get my head around these tariffs. So you put a tariff on my widget that I sell to the US. Tomorrow the importer in the US will have to send a cheque to the irs for 25%. On my end it will feel like normal. Eventually the demand for my widget will decline. Unless the demand for it is inelastic? Or there is no local alternative.
