  3. I’m still amazed that the West did so little after North Korea joined the war. While the West debates which weapons to send to avoid escalation, Putin does whatever he wants.

  4. Not the elite super troops they fancied themselves to be. Of course the North Korean propaganda machine will never let citizens know this. If these troops ever make it back home they’ll be hailed as heroes with some made-up victories or locked away or killed. I can’t imagine the regime would want tales of the outside world spreading among the population.

    They did not withdraw from Ukrainian ground.
    There withdrew from the Kursk region.
    And likely to be deployed elsewhere.
    Where Kursk is (technically) Ukrainian territory now.
    The post may suggest some ambiguity here.
    Let’s not muddy our information.
