Denmark will face Croatia in Oslo on Sunday evening at 6 PM. The Danish men’s team enters the final against Croatia with great confidence.

Denmark has remained undefeated in this final stage and will now meet Croatia in the final, which comes as a surprise after they knocked out France in the semi-finals. Denmark now has the chance to win their fourth consecutive World Cup gold medal. Henrik Møllgaard is quite certain about who will take home the victory on Sunday evening. He told TV2 Sport:

“I think we will crush them tomorrow. Croatia will bring a lot of energy, pressure, and strong physicality, but I just believe that our speed will overwhelm them. I think we will be almost as dominant as we have been throughout the tournament.”

Croatia’s national coach, Dagur Sigurdsson, is also surprised by their place in the final. He acknowledges that the Danish national team will be a major challenge:

“I don’t think they (Denmark, ed.) expected us to be here (in the World Cup final, ed.). I just spoke to Nikolaj, and we had a laugh about it. We also talked before the tournament, but we didn’t expect this. But it will be fun to play against him—he’s a great guy. And of course, the Danish team is a huge challenge,” he told TV2 Sport.
