  1. Good

The far left are just as bat shit insane as the far right

But at least the far right don’t want me to hate myself because I happen to be English and born a cis hetro male

  2. Hmm, the article doesn’t seem to mention that Starmer ran his leadership election on [10 pledges to keep popular Corbyn policies to help with the housing and cost of living crisis](https://keirstarmer.com/plans/10-pledges/) which he then promptly dropped to rehire [Mandelson](https://www.reddit.com/r/LabourUK/comments/rzouhj/new_photo_emerges_of_peter_mandelson_partying/) and a bunch of Blair era figures, [took away one member one vote](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/keir-starmer-labour-conference-vote-b1923983.html) to stop another left-winger winning – and lurched the party to the right to the point [Union is threatening to remove funding.](https://inews.co.uk/news/unite-boss-threatens-pull-all-funding-labour-party-dispute-bin-workers-coventry-1452415) All the while overseeing [a financial crisis in the party](https://www.politico.eu/article/uk-labour-asl-staff-pay-cut-cash-crunch/) due to a drastic [drop in membership](https://skwawkbox.org/2022/01/14/labour-has-lost-200000-members-and-8-million-in-dues/). I guess this is good news if you like the status quo in the country. Because the party is now essentially Tory-lite, pro neoliberalism, free marketist – the same form of government we’ve had in Britain since the 1980s.
