Jones is class, he’s churning through players right now and building his WC team which will no doubt be fucking lethal when it comes to crunch time. Meanwhile we put Johnny on ice and hope he makes it until then. We split them in 2 today even with shocking reffing favoring them at the scrum but for as much as the 6N is worth it’s nothing in the face of a WC. Remember last time we shit on England and they went on to a WC final the next year? Same thing here.
In that case we peaked too soon of course but now we haven’t, Andy seems to have timed it right in that we have the foundation to build on but the house isn’t ready yet and WC around the corner. I’m positive he took a few pages out of Jones book before he fired him and I’m sure he has a flame burning there to beat him using his own tactics.
Regardless, if England show up next week it’s going to be the game of the 6N to watch and I look forward to it. I don’t think France are all that, Wales figured them out last night and if they didn’t Wales themselves they would have won it.
