MUSKOGEE, OKLA (KTUL) — The City of Muskogee released a statement regarding an issue with Aquahawk alerts.
According to the City of Muskogee, customers have received inaccurate or erroneous alerts related to their water usage.
An error was identified in the data transfer process between the City of Muskogee and the Aquahawk system.
The error was not the result of a data breach or any unauthorized access to customer information.
The City’s technical team worked to resolve the issue and believes it is now corrected.
Aquahawk is not the official billing system of the City of Muskogee.
The alerts and information provided by Aquahawk are estimates based on current and past water usage and are not intended to reflect actual billing amounts.
