    Good. It’s the right thing to do, and will probably need to be extended again if the war drags on or even escalates.

    I am hoping this is just an administrative delay. The farmer might be able to employ one or two extra hands, but the rest will really need to find jobs (and accommodation) off the farm.

    The extension should come with a waiver to let them work wherever, doing whatever. I guess the issue then becomes when the extension is over, and this simple answer would be to not reimpose the one-job one-farmer restriction.
