Pokémon TCG Pocket has a new set of secret missions, offering new rewards to players who manage to collect Space-Time Smackdown’s rarest cards. This week, Pokémon TCG Pocket launched Space-Time Smackdown, a new set that adds tons of Gen 4 Pokémon to the popular mobile app. In addition to over a dozen publicly viewable missions, there are also five new secret missions that players can complete.
All five secret missions in Space-Time Smackdown involve collecting various Illustration rare or Special Illustration Rare cards. Unfortunately, players can’t check on the progress of these missions, as Secret Missions don’t appear in the Missions menu. However, players will know when the missions are complete as they’ll be rewarded the mission’s rewards automatically.
Every Space-Time Smackdown Secret Mission
Each Mission Involves Collecting The Rarest Cards In Space-Time Smackdown
Four of the new Space-Time Smackdown missions are “museum” missions that require collecting numerous alternate art cards. Players will only need to get the Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare Pokémon cards for these missions — no full art cards are required. Each museum mission is tied to one of Space-Time Smackdown’s two booster pack types. For instance, you’ll need to collect all the Illustration Rare cards from Space-Time Smackdown: Dialga to complete the Space-Time Smackdown Museum 1 mission.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Datamine Reveals When Next Two Sets Will Be Released
A new Pokémon TCG Pocket datamine has revealed the alleged release dates for the game’s next two card sets following Space-Time Smackdown’s release!
The five secret missions in Space-Time Smackdown are:
Space-Time Smackdown Museum 1
Space-Time Smackdown Museum 2
Space-Time Smackdown Museum 3
Space-Time Smackdown Museum 4
Champion of the Sinnoh Region
The fifth mission involves gathering alternate art cards of Cynthia’s Pokémon in the new set. While some of Genetic Apex’s secret missions involved gathering Pokémon involving different gym leaders, Space-Time Smackdown has only one mission involving a trainer. This is the only mission that involves collecting a Full Art Trainer card, as you’ll need Cynthia’s alternate art card to complete this mission.
How To Complete All Space-Time Smackdown Secret Missions
Collect As Many Rare Cards As You Can

To complete each mission, you should focus your efforts on specific booster packs. Although trading can’t help, since Space-Time Smackdown isn’t currently eligible for trading, you can try to snag some of the cards they need from Wonder Picks, especially during these early days of the new set. Keep in mind that you will get a ton of Wonder Hourglasses as rewards, so don’t be afraid to make a Wonder Pick if there’s a card you need for these missions.
Space-Time Smackdown Museum 1 & 2
The first set of missions requires collecting all the 1-Star (Illustration Rare) cards from the two Space-Time Smackdown packs. 1-Star cards have a higher pull rate than other alt-art cards and even Pokémon ex cards. You shouldn’t have too much trouble collecting the bulk of these cards over time, especially if you’re focusing on one kind of pack.

Completing each of these sets comes with the same reward. You’ll earn 12x Pack Hourglasses, 36x Wonder Hourglasses, and 10x Shop Tickets for completing each mission. Pull rates remain the same as in Genetic Apex, so you have a 2.572% chance of pulling one of these alternate art cards whenever you open up a pack.
Space-Time Smackdown Museum 3 & 4
Similar to the previous set of museum missions, these Space-Time Smackdown secret missions both involve collecting all the Special Illustration Rare Pokémon cards from each pack. While there are only four Special Illustration Rare cards per pack, players will likely have to open a lot more packs in order to complete these missions, as these cards are a lot rarer than 1-Star cards. Unfortunately, Full Art cards don’t qualify for this mission — only the Special Illustration Rare cards that have unique illustrations qualify.

Completing each of these missions provides players with the same rewards as the other museum missions. You’ll earn 12x Pack Hourglasses, 36x Wonder Hourglasses, and 10x Shop Tickets for completing each mission. Unfortunately, these missions are much more difficult for two reasons. Players only have a 0.5% chance of getting a 2-Star card in any Space-Time Smackdown pack they open. Additionally, two-thirds of the 2-Star cards in each pack type are either Full Art cards or Trainer Full Art cards, neither of which qualify for the misison.
Champion Of The Sinnoh Region
This is the only secret mission that doesn’t involve collecting all of a certain type of card. Instead, players will just need to collect four of the alternate art cards tied to Pokémon used by Cynthia, champion of the Sinnoh region. Additionally, players will also need to collect the Cynthia Full Art card, which can be found in Space-Time Smackdown: Palkia packs.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Leak Reveals Next Events, Including New Kind of Giveaway With Rare Cards
The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket datamines have revealed new leaks on Wonder Picks, Events, and rewards coming to the game in February 2025.
The five cards needed to complete this mission are:
Gastrodon
Lucario
Spiritomb
Garchomp
Cynthia
Completing this mission rewards players with a special Garchomp emblem, tying back to Cynthia’s signature Pokémon. This is currently the only way to get the Garchomp emblem in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Considering that other secret emblem missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket involve collecting multiple Special Illustration Rare ex cards, this might be the easiest secret emblem mission to complete thus far.
