WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – This February, the West Monroe Convention Center and Kayla’s Kitchen are inviting guests to step back in time for a night of music, mystery, and murder.
“Death by Doo Wop”, a 1950s-themed murder mystery dinner theater, promises an interactive experience where guests can enjoy a rockin’ good time—while also solving a crime.
Set in the world of “National Bandstand”, a fictional ’50s TV dance show, the production blends classic rock ‘n’ roll nostalgia with a thrilling whodunit.
As the dancers take the stage to twist and jive, a shocking murder turns the evening into a high-stakes mystery. The audience will play detective, piecing together clues to unmask the culprit before the night is over.
Not only does “Death by Doo Wop” offer a night of immersive entertainment, but it also supports a good cause. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival, helping sustain one of the area’s most cherished cultural events.
Event organizers are thrilled with the energy and creativity the cast has brought to their roles.
The production will run on February 13th and 14th at the West Monroe Convention Center and February 21st, 22nd, 28th, and March 1st at Kayla’s Kitchen.
Tickets are $60for Convention Center shows and $50 for Kayla’s Kitchen performances .
Audiences are encouraged to dress in their best 1950s attire, grab their dancing shoes, and prepare for a night of unforgettable fun.
