I am Romanian, and to me, although it makes me happy to read about investments and things happening in Romania industry-wise, it doesn’t make that much sense to invest in anything other than aerospace – namely fighter planes and drones right now. It was shown in so many theaters of operations around the world that drones turn the tanks and armoured vehicles into sitting ducks. Being part of a tank crew is like a sentence to death nowadays.
Also, the infantry should be armed to the teeth with anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile launchers, night scopes, ammo and light armour such as bullet-proof vests and quality helmets. If you will spend some time on r/combatfootage , you will understand better what works on the modern battlefield and what doesn’t.
