Since a few weeks I had 4 dead hares in my garden. They show no sign of injury. Is rabbit fever going around these parts? Do you contact someone to collect the cadaver?
maybe someone throwing around rat poison or whatever?
“Ugh guys, I got all this free food in my garden and I want it to stop”
Said this 1 guy, once
I wouldn’t call someone to bury some hares. Dig a hole, good for your plants?
Perchance a bug, i’m sure the devs will patch it in a few weeks, just notify them.
Taking the information from Flanders, for wild animals found with no clear reason of death, it is recommended to contact the commune to ask for info. But technically, burying them is also allowed.

You need to contact your local police and they will order an agency to come collect the animal and take notice of it. If there are more than 1 they will do an autopsy normally. Please put the dead animal in a plastic bag in the freezer as soon as possible so the blood stays preserved for diagnostic purposes.
Are the eyes fallen in? Look out for mixomatose
Ask your neighbors if they put rat poison out.
Contact the commune.
If it’s rat poison it sometimes can get buried. That way other animals will not get the poison fed. But it depends on the poison.
I spoke to my neigbour, a farmer and he said there is/was a disease amongcthe hares this year, so that’s probably what killed them. There are less hares than other years.
