Could anyone tell me what these say? It is in German but in a font I cannot read
If someone could tell me what it says (does not have to to translate to English)

  2. It is really hard to read although I do have some experience with old German. I would say more than 90% of the letters in the first photo are Deutsche Kurrentschrift, but some single letters just don’t fit. Also, the writing is not as pedantic and beautiful as is typical for the time. This makes it hard to read for me. The date on the first picture is (as you probably gathered yourself) 2nd February 1953, but the person who wrote this at this time must have been someone born before the 2nd world war and maybe even before the 1st world war, I would think. It’s not the kind of writing I would expect from anyone who went to school in the 1940s, it should be someone who went to school earlier in the 20th century.

    as somebody there will certainly be able to read it. It is definitely not Sütterlin, it does not have any of the typical elements. It is Kurrent with some small changes and with a bit of an obscure writing style.

    The first photo says something like “Zur Erinnerung vor Ihre in meiner [????] [*and]” but as I said the letters don’t fit exactly. Translated it is something like “as a memory / memento for / of your in my [….] [….]” and the name “Marie W.”

    The second photo shows “Foto Fokuhl” which must be a photographer / a photographer’s shop, as Foto means photo and is / was also a common name for a shop of a photographer – they usually called themselves “Foto [surname] and “Fokuhl” is an old German family name which I believe has its origin in Lower Saxony, which fits as “Emden” is a place in lower Saxony, in the NorthWest of Germany close to the North Sea. So it is from a photographer in Emden.

    It seems like the second photo was written by a different person and possibly at a different time? The writing is quiet different in my opinion, and it is much closer to Sütterlin. I can’t really read it though.
