Trump has learned nothing from the Russia-Ukraine War. When countries went out of their way to cancel their ties with Russia, they replaced those trade routes with goods from elsewhere. When the war is over, there is no incentive to ever switch back. That is the path he’s sending the US down, our valued trading partners will see us as a risk, and move past us.
It’s funny because if everyone has tariffs, then nobody does… And US customers pay. Try to repatriate our natural resources, lol.
