  8. I wouldn’t trust starlink at this point anyway. The guy is so thin skinned he took away blue check marks from people that outed him for cheating at video games.

  15. The combination of Ford having to pivot away from MAGA-adjacency and my subsequent approval of his actions is not something I had on my 2025 bingo card.

    Americans take note – it is possible (and beneficial!) to approve of the actions from someone on the other side of the aisle when they make a good decision. It’s not the colour of their campaign sign that matters, it is the policy decisions they make.

    For people outside of Ontario, the signing of the deal with Starlink was a major step forward for rural and northern Ontario. This is a major sacrifice for those people who will be affected.

UK, Canada and EU banning Starlink, Banning Xitter (pronounced Shitter, ain’t calling it X and it isn’t Twitter any more either) and putting 100-200% tarrifs on Teslas and anything else Edolf Muskler touches. Also an arrest on landing warrent because of national security. Effectively cutting him off. Seize or hold his assets in their countries if any.

    Tariff bad. Yes. But what’s the point of all this? It’s simple but under reported .

    It all goes to undermining NATO

    If America is in an aggressive trade war with NATO members, weakening economic allegiances, it MIGHT be assumed that its militaristic alliances are on shaky ground.

    NATO does not exist without certainty. Without guarantee.

    The disillusionment of NATO idelas leading dissolution of NATO as a whole is the point.

    This is why Trump now is suddenly attacking Canada and Greenland with not only economic aggression but also threats of actual annexation.

    Who benefits from dissolving NATO? Gee, I wonder…

    We are witnessing the start of dark periods in future history books.
