Britons flock to Ukrainian Embassy in London to sign up for fight against Russia

  1. Senior figures in the British government are personally responsible for encouraging these absolute idiots, who seem to think they’re in some sort of computer game, to go abroad where they will only be a liability.

  2. This is why history is important. The international brigades had a bloody training program and intake requirements. Random people throwing themselves abroad is going to be a lot less helpful then if there had been a little structure to it.

  3. > “I thought there’d be coaches,” said Peter Fouche, who was shaking with adrenaline and dressed head-to-toe in military garb. “I’m ready to go this afternoon.”

    > “What’s the best way in? Poland? Romania? I was hoping there might be coaches or something taking us out, that there’d be body armour and helmets, but there doesn’t seem to be anything,” he said, adding that he would home and do some gardening while he waited for more information.”

I’m beginning to think these people saw the 10 seconds of footage from one of the Ukrainian social clubs that were filmed by the BBC or Sky. (around 5 days ago) It featured the clubs members/volunteers taking piles of body armour and placing it in a van.

Somehow they then came to the conclusion that they would travel to the embassy, sign their name on a clipboard, get kitted out and straight onto a coach?

  4. Well they’re fucking morons then. Why run the risk of turning this into world war three, so you can post on Facebook “ooh look I’m so brave”.
    Dick. Heads.
