  3. It must be nice to continue to believe elections don’t have consequences and that a minority party out of power in which the constitution doesn’t give them any power at all, should just simply solve all the problems by people who didn’t vote for them to be able to do anything.

    There is no plan B. Democrats warned you there was no plan B, no simple trick they still had, if fascists gained total government control, so stop asking for it. The sooner people deal with that reality the sooner we might actually be able to fix things.

  7. Honestly I’m really curious to know if suicide rates have gone up in the last ten days with how hard and fast this stuff is coming at us. Everything from minority rights to affordable food and housing was just ripped away from the entire population (except the wealthy elite). It has gone from very difficult to build a life for yourself in this country to “virtually impossible”, almost overnight.

    One is mass protests and strikes by government workers, including federal, state and local workers. Also non-essential healthcare workers, teachers, entire university systems, immigrant communities, faith communties, non-profit workers, LGBQT community members…a mass strike and protests.

    Also, we need a federal judge to grant an injunction and appoint a master to run executive agencies. Someone respected by both parties with integrity. So one for USAID, EPA, Labor Department, etc.

    These are crazy strategies, but the fascists are consolidating power. It is now or never.

  17. If USAID collapses, the U.S. government loses one of its main non-military tools for shaping global politics. This vacuum allows corporate interests (re Musk) to exert unchecked influence in developing countries, whether through Starlink or Tesla. Musk’s interests align with deconstructing traditional government power structures in favor of decentralized, corporate-driven solutions. I.E Corporate-fascism. Hell he even suggested a coup in Bolivia to access lithium.

    Everyone should be paying attention to which countries become Musk’s next major expansion targets are and whether Starlink, Tesla, or SpaceX increase their influence in former USAID-controlled regions. Musk isn’t dismantling USAID for any other reason but self enrichment. Disgusting.
