  1. Respect to them for honouring the promo and seeing the funny side. I hope they get booming business after this. They should like genuine guvs.

  2. Good publicity for ‘em. Can’t imagine £1500 would usually get you national coverage. Win-win.

  3. The goal scorers should all chip in with their goal bonuses

  4. Worldwide media coverage and more punters wanting to visit for just £1.5k. bargain!

  5. Is that £1500 cost price or sale price?

It’s either actual loss or potential loss

  6. ‘You thought it was per person? Sorry, it’s just the one pint for you all to share’

  7. Surely one of the Forest players can donate £1500 to cover that haha. Take the team on a night out there maybe?

  8. In fairness, solid marketing for the pub though given the coverage they’ve gotten as a result.

  9. The pubs other owner is named Cassian Prime and he wasn’t present when it happened. Presumably because he was fighting Megatron.

  10. Is that legal? I remember this exact example of promotion being used in reference to encouragement of irresponsible drinking during personal license training. Been a while though

  11. They’ll make it back and more in free publicity and loyal patrons. From this.

  12. I drank in a pub years ago and during a world cup they had half price drinks until the first goal was scored on selected games.

I can’t remember which teams exactly but it was a big side against a minnow but there wasn’t a goal scored until late into the second half.

Never drank so many pints in quick succession

  13. As a Kiwi I’m still stunned by Forest’s and Chris Wood’s form this season.

At 34 Wood is competing with the biggest money strikers in the league, with 17 goals this season. He’s fastly approaching Viduka as the highest scoring player from Oceania. Viduka had 93 prem league goals. He’s also the same age as Viduka was when he was released from Newcastle. Viduka was a household name for most of his career, Woods never been that before.
