  16. She was alright in Uncut Gems (although it was basically an Emily Ratajkowski Gone Girl role), and I’m looking forward to seeing Presence. But what is she really doing that is beyond capital B Boobs and cashing in on celebrity adjacency? There are a lot of great writers/directors out there. The irony of her Uncut Gems role was that she was so well casted because she fronts as most of that character in real life.

    I’m not sold on being interested in anything she may or may not be making yet. She’s 35 and barely done any work

  28. She’s wrong, people will complain about reboots and remakes but when an original movie comes out, there’s little to no buzz. Studios are only gonna sink big money into properties with a built in audience. So we actually do want reboots and remakes until the movie going audience starts showing up for original films. There’s hundreds of original movies put out every year, it’s about the audience finding out about it.
