  1. Do you get deported if convicted of racially aggravated harassment? I want fewer people like this in Britain.

  2. I hope she was charged for racism.

Derogatory comment, aimed at one race, it’s literally the definition.

  3. >The words were a comment, however poorly expressed, about positions of power, about privilege and how those things might colour perception.

I really don’t think a well-known footballer who was pissed up at the time should be using “muh privilege” as some sort of defence.

  4. Deportation to the penal colony for this racist criminal

  5. What gets me is the “woso” community are praising it, because she’s a woman.

This woman obviously thinks she’s above the law. Hopefully she’s punished in the same way a man would be.

  6. Even disregarding the racist comment, she comes across awfully by the description in the article.

All she needed to do was pay the taxi driver the soiling charge (which is about £75 if memory serves me right) and he’d have dropped her off home.

Instead she smashes the car up, argues with the police, and opens her bank app to show off how rich she is.

Now she’s facing a 5 day trial that will cost her a lot more than £75.

  7. >Sam Kerr captured on body warn footage

Attention to detail is the mark of good journalism.

  8. I do like the fact this article leads with the police coming because they were refusing to pay while leaving out the fact they smashed in the back window and were half way through climbing out of it when the police arrived.

  9. As much as people love to be outraged by it, a lot of the time, calling someone white is just not the same as using Black/Asian or similar as an insult.

She believed the officer didn’t believe her because she was a black woman vs the taxi driver who was a man.

Pointing out that the officer is white when white people haven’t historically faced persecution because of their skin colour in this country just doesn’t have the same impact or connotation as using black as a pejorative.

    It’s just not the same.

  10. Well that’s the dots started so this discussion is dead in the water, folks. Sorry!

  11. I wonder if this person still has a career after this? Or is it forgiven when you’re a woman being racist to white people?

  12. One of my favourite things when they release bodycam footage is the noise all officers make when they move slowly, you can hear all the giblets on the molle vest rattle

Glad the officer threw in racially motivated public order. It’s rare you see officers do this as there seems to be this preconceptions that white people can’t be victims of racial anything

  13. Find her guilty of the racially aggravated public order offence she’s been charged with, sentence her with a fine or some sort of community work and be done with it.

On one hand this should be used as a public example that contrary to an unsettingly popular belief, calling someone ‘white’ as justification for dismissing them or as an insult is _not_ ok.

On the other hand it is a pretty minor flippant comment made when she’s in a stressful situation (even if it was of her own making). Not worth clamoring for her blood.

  14. And of course her girlfriend is white.

    These losers always project.

  15. That’s what this 20 something year old public servant on shit pay who has to deal with crackheads, horrible pissed up dickheads, daily abuse, continuous trauma and long shifts doing anti-social hours gets for having white privilege. He’ll never know the struggle of being a professional footballer.

  16. A racist Australian? Associated with Chelsea football club?

It’s always the ones you least suspect…
