  1. Considering what a shit show the US is becoming this isn’t a bad idea to keep illegal immigrants out of Mexico.

  2. It seems they played Trump and this is just a normal rotation of the Mexican National Guard forces deployed to the US-Mexico border. The question is what happens when (or even if) he realizes he was played? I mean back in his first term people would sneak into the Oval Office and remove Executive Orders before he could sign them and he never even knew.

    Also, the Mexican National Guard is a full time paramilitary police force created by merging the Mexican Federal Police, the Mexican Army’s Military Police, and the Mexican Navy’s Naval Police. It’s not a militia like our National Guard.

All Trump wanted was a little shock and awe to crash the market so his buddies can buy some stocks on the dip. Give it a week or so, and when the prices recover, we’ll announce to invade Switzerland for being so neutral.

  8. And what happens in a month? He’s going to try and extract something else from Mexico? Having that sword hanging over your head is not good for business. They need to strike a deal that takes tariffs off the table for good.

  10. Which border are we talking about ? I think the issue was Mexico’s southern border where migrants from central and South America start at.

  11. In April 2021, Biden got Mexico to agree to the same 10k troops. Once again, Trump is taking credit for something Biden already did– without throwing the world into chaos with his Tariff BS.
