  6. I’m going to say an unpleasant truth here, which I’m sure will get downvoted.

    It is NOT okay or normal to be turned out by hurting people. There has been case after case after case of men with violent fetishes taking it too far and seriously hurting or killing the women they are with. If a guy is turned on by abusing women, he likely wants to abuse women. It’s common sense. Don’t be fooled. It is a red flag to be turned on by being physically violent with your partner.

    And I’m aware that people will come out of the woodwork and say “don’t kink shame!” etc. I don’t care. It’s not ok, and there’s likely a much darker side of themselves that they’re trying to hide under the guise of a sexual preference. As is the case here, as was the case with Armie Hammer (who I know is attempting to redeem himself right now, but I do not buy an ounce of it) and the list goes on ad infinitum.

    We need to stop normalizing and justifying this kind of behaviour. It’s not a kink, it’s a problem.

  8. From what I’ve heard Amanda Palmer was actively participating in some of these acts not just sending girls his way. At least that’s according to one of the allegations.

  18. I really liked some of Gaiman’s work and own his books and comics. It’s been very disappointing to hear about how terrible he was and is. Really hope the victims get justice for their pain.
