    They should have given him proper combat training. Very sad

  4. Although he didn’t have experience or not really proper training, that wasn’t what got him killed:

    > While walking across a field with a group of international fighters delivering supplies to the front line on July 23 last year, he was spotted and chased by three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
    > Just 30m from safety, he was caught by one of them, which exploded. The blast killed him, a former comrade told The Sun newspaper.
    > ‘First and last mission’
    > Jason, a US volunteer who was with Wilton when he died, said: “Once the drone was on him, James never stood a chance.
    > “It was James’s first and last mission.”
    > The group had been carrying 60kg packs and were moving in pairs when they were detected.
    > Jason said: “We had to cross an open field with no trees, no cover, nothing, to resupply other soldiers.
    > “I was team leader and there were six of us traversing in groups of two, 20m apart. Myself and James were the last two.”

    There was nothing any of them could have done, it was his bad luck the drone pilots picked him.

  8. Sad. 18 and not thinking clearly. Fight for your own country. It’s really cool on call of duty, but in real life it’s hell. No coming back now, just for some action and adventure. Bad mistake and as cold as it is to say, it’s never ok to die for the other guy.. it’s selfish to your family. The war had nothing to do with you.. Putin won’t step a foot outside of Ukraine.. this isn’t about conquering Europe as many try to say he will continue farther. He knows he can’t.. he just wants the Black Sea and the territory, especially Mariupol and odesa. Died for nothing.

  11. just got outta high school and dead. sad, nothing to be proud of could’ve had a life but died in minutes what a moron who died and did nothing
