Ireland asks all buildings around the world to be lit yellow and blue for St. Patrick’s day

  1. Someone suggested this on here recently and people were really harsh towards them and against the idea thinking it was stupid. I think it’s a simple but nice gesture

  2. The OP of this post dropped this in there:

    > (…Trust me, we know how Ukrainians feel)

    What a narcissistic ballbag.

    Anyhow, agree with the gesture.

  3. Hypocrite politicians, Irish government MEPs voted against a EU proposal to seize the assets of Russian oligarchs hidden in tax havens, they helped to defeat the proposal. All 4 FG and 1 FF MEPs voted on the side of oligarchs.

  4. Piss off.

No love for Palestine or the countless illegal wars and hundreds of thousands of civilians. And 38 million people displaced in Middle East

  5. I imagine if I saw my family go up in a pink mist from a missile hitting my living room this would be truly comforting.

Fuck thoughts and prayers. It’s all about that lighting. 🤌

  6. Everything around the western world is already lit yellow and blue in an expression of unified virtue signaling. It would be nice if they donated money or food to the refugees instead, but they prefer to play with colored lights.

Please stop the meaningless gestures. If you want to help Ukraine, then do something real. Posting a smiley face emoji on the Ukraine Facebook page does not feed or house refugees!!!!!

  7. When? When did we ask everyone to light up their buildings in blue & yellow? We don’t even ask for anything to be lit up in green.
Why not just donate money or something useful to Ukraine instead of fucking around with lights? Stupid idea.
