  1. That’s a shame because we’d be mental not to choose the EU.

    I don’t expect the European Union to trust us enough to rejoin outright but we need to join the EEA now.

  2. And when Trump insists we start buying Trump brand water and that we lift the ban on Cyber trucks being driven on our roads, then what?

    We need to pick a side, because sitting on the fence means we’ll get shit from everyone.

  4. Trump’s going to want access to the NHS. Any deal with Trump is going to be bad for us and good for him. So from an economic point of view, we must choose the EU.

    Musk and his teenager goons, Trump and the Project 2025 people are going mental.

    While we still have to play ball with the US, I hope we go about strengthening ties everywhere else.

  16. Starmer is a weak pathetic leader. UK trades more with the EU, are European and everyone can see Trump is unreliable as hell

  17. I suspect what he says in public is very different to what is happening being the scenes.

  19. Well that benefit of Brexit didn’t take long to materialise, being forced to chose which economic blocks own us

    Starmers living in fantasy land if he really thinks appeasement is going to work here, it certainly won’t with the Americans and Europes not going to be in any hurry to let him reset relations if they see us trying to have it both ways. Most likely he’ll get himself into a situation where the EU has massive leverage in any talks.

  21. I get starmer has to be diplomatic here but he’s starting to p*ss me off. You can’t keep making no decision. It should be a pretty easy one.

    Be a partner of equals, or be a state that receives orders and gets threatened with tarriffs constantly

  24. Like me, a lot of girls love me but I am not choosing between anyone. My decision, believe me.

  25. We currently have tariff free access to the EU single market as part of the Brexit deal. If we can avoid these additional American tarrifs too we stand to be in a good position. We don’t need an American free trade deal to maintain the status quo, that’s not how it works
