In addition, during an interview with the local media outlet Seznam ZprĂĄvy, Adonxs has talked about his feelings for Eurovision 2025, as well as revealing more details about his entry.
Adonxs explained that local media often only choose the most bizarre things for Eurovision, but, according to him, Eurovision is far from just a kitschy variety show.
In pop, image is a natural part of artistic identity. But if you donât radiate any emotion, then more eccentric clothes wonât be enough.
He then explained that preparations for Eurovision are in full swing. He is currently trying to get as much space as possible in foreign media, having planned performances in Spain, Malta or Switzerland to engage with fans in other countries. He is also spending a lot of time in the studio, working on his song, on the video clip, and on the visuals.
About his entry for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, we have already learned that itâs going to be named âKiss Kiss Goodbyeâ. Adonxs added that he knows exactly what he wants to achieve on stage:
I wanted to come up with something that would have enormous energy and at the same time evoke strong emotions. But I find it difficult to assign the song to one genre, I would describe it as a post-genre power ballad that also gives room for dancing. It still retains my authorial style, it doesnât try to be appealing at all costs, but at the same time I think it is adapted to the character of Eurovision.
He then confirmed that there are both an English and a Slovak version of his entry, but he will sing in English in May.
Adonxs will represent Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song âKiss Kiss Goodbyeâ. He will perform in the second half of the second semi-final, on May 15. Brighton-based Czech singer Aiko represented Czechia at Eurovision 2024 with her song âPedestal,â finishing 11th in the second semi-final in MalmĂś.

Gabriela GunÄĂkovĂĄ took Czechia to their first final in 2016. This came after a three year run of non-qualifications between 2007 and 2009, and missing out on a place in the final on their return in 2015. Until 2023, the nation took part under the name Czech Republic.
