  23. I was talking with a friend, I think what’s going on is that the current administration is threatening to categorize Reddit as a porn site (and thus require ID verification), as to drive people away from one of the last remaining left-leaning social sites

  28. It was inevitable after Reddit had an IPO and became a public company. Investors and advertisers hate investing in porn. I don’t know how much Trump is relevant to this. Similar thing happened to Tumblr in the past.

  31. Yeah? I got banned from some subs like r/pics just for having visited political subs that r/pics didn’t agree with. What does r/pics have to do with anything political? Pics, as in pictures, photos….etc. Something I like to do by the way, taking photos of nature and such. If reddit got taken down today I’d be like good riddance and f*ck you.

    I don’t give a shit what gets banned on reddit, it’s a cesspool of complete degens anyway.
