just imagine being a North Korean soldier and what awaits you when you return to the peninsula after embarrassing yourself and your nation on the battlefield.

If this war keeps going for much longer, we’ll soon see them coming back. Putin can’t go without them and probably he just needs to match expectations with Kim, so the so called NK elite troops don’t get wasted in meat wave attacks. Meat wave attacks can be conducted by ordinary NK troops, probably keeps the population more quiet.
This is all shit. I hate seeing all these dead people, I bet most soldiers who fight for the Russians would rather be at home and live in peace. Ukrainians as well, of course. No one should be in those circumstances.

We still don’t understand fully the effects of drone warfare on human psychology on the battlefield. I imagine being hunted 24/7 by an often times silent and unheard enemy can’t really fuck your head up bad. Knowing any second one could drop a frag on you or could slam into you with a warhead has to be absolutely terrifying, and some humans can only take so much.
