The sister of the Princess of Wales, Pippa Middleton, is hoping to open a nursery for children aged nine months to five years at her Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire.
Royal commentator Richard Eden reported that Pippa and her husband James Matthews “have opened discussions with locals in Berkshire about creating a childcare centre on their 77-acre farm”, as reported by GB News.
Pippa and James purchased the large 72-acre Bucklebury Farm for £1.5million in October 2020.
The couple, along with business partner James Murray, transformed what was previously a deer safari park into a family-run destination, complete with an indoor soft play area for children.
Very much a working farm, Bucklebury Farm promises a “new, exciting adventure” with new arrivals throughout the year.
This includes “baby lambs to bottle feed in spring, goat kids, rabbits and guinea pigs to cuddle and piglets to meet”.
The farm also features an array of family-friendly attractions, including glamping pods and ziplines for adventurous visitors.
Pippa Middleton is now planning to open a nursery for children aged nine months to five years at her Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire.
The announcement was made on the farm’s official Instagram account, inviting interested parents to get in touch via direct message.
The development marks another successful venture for the couple, who reside in a £15million estate in Berkshire.
If the nursery plans go ahead, Pippa and James’s daughters Grace, three, and Rose, two, could be among its first attendees. The eldest child Arthur, six, has already started school, however.
Pippa and James were married on May 20, 2017, in an intimate ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield.
The farm’s location has strong family ties, with Princess Kate and Prince William often visiting the Middleton family home in Berkshire.
