I’m a US tourist vaccinated in the US trying to get the CST via this form: https://coronavirus.brussels/en/belgian-cst-for-foreigners/
However, I was told it should be within 2 business days that I would hear back, but it’s been 2 business days and haven’t heard back.

How long does this usually take? What should I do in the meantime while I wait, now that I’m in BE? How does getting a temporary CST work from a test? Does it work like the Netherlands where I can just walk into a pharmacy from [this list](https://www.visitbruges.be/lijst-brugse-apotheken-waar-antigeentesten-worden-afgenomen-eng) , and they’ll give me a code I can use on COVIDSafeBE after my test? Will I need to use CTPC test?

Don’t speak Dutch or French, any help much appreciated

  1. I applied for a cst on Saturday and got it this morning. I attached my cdc covid vaccine with qr code thing to the application. The ctpc is texted to you on the day of arrival. Make sure you fill out the plf with whatever phone number you’ll have on you and they’ll text it to you.

  2. If it’s the government you’re dealing with: today and yesterday were holidays for them. (Yesterday was also a holiday for the rest of us normal people)

  3. Getting the certificate from a test should be straightforward : you just need to type the CTPC code of the test in the app.

The certificate validity is 48hours for a PCR, 24h for an antigen test done in a pharmacy
