  1. praying this energy gets turned into something meaningful. regardless, i love to see it. more demands! this is how you get your representatives to represent you.

  2. They need to fight as hard as Pelosi did when (she had a broken hip at the time too) she did everything she could to keep AOC from that committee seat.

  3. Folks are being pretty harsh on Dems with unreasonable expectations of what is possible and what is wise. Would I like to see more? Absolutely!

But there are complications and we should be considerate of them – while imploring them to do more instead of directing our anger at them (direct your anger at Trusk).

1- The administration is throwing non-stop issues and distractions out there, making it hard to take action against specific things.
2- Their jobs have other requirements. Committee meetings, hearings, votes, hearing from constituents. Think of how much time you’ve spent learning about everything Trump is doing and how it impacting your productivity. They have to deal with that and then some.
3- Everything is happening so quickly. Coordinating meaningful responses should not be as haphazard and slapdash as the admin’s actions.
4- Be very careful how you resist a wanna-be dictator. They are trying to calculate how he will retaliate to various actions. How they can try to influence or trick him. What will work best when he’s trying to completely co-opt federal law enforcement.

Plead with your reps to take action. Tell them what you are feeling. Tell them how admin actions impact you and your community. But let’s keep our anger directed where it belongs.

  4. If you’re not writing and calling your Republican elected officials too, you’re not doing enough.

Nobody voted for Elon Musk and they all need to hear it every damn day.

  5. As they fucking should be! Fight harder. Or fight AT ALL. STOP PLAYING NICE YOU SPINELESS FUCKING LOSERS! FIGHT!

  6. Fight harder should mean that they develop a plan to wrestle power from the GOP house during mid terms, that they pay more attention to state election and rebuild their ground game and sue the shit out of Trump whenever it has an even marginal shot at success . I can do without performative pronouncements of outrage

  7. Standing around chanting “we will win” really ain’t gonna do it, Chuck…

  8. I have been a Democrat for my entire life and voted democrat in 9 presidential elections. I’m afraid I must respectfully decline your request to do more. I just watched this country spend three years having a complete come apart over eggs and immigrants/trans people. Most of the population barely eats eggs and never encounters one of those people, yet they elect a known moronic sociopath. You want help now? No, I’m afraid not. You wanted a selfish and chaotic country .You figure out how to live in this world you demanded.

  9. >“There has definitely been some tension the last few days where people felt like: you are calling the wrong people. You are literally calling the wrong people,” said one House Democrat.

I’m sorry what? Of course this person isn’t named. They deserve to be booted out of office and replaced.

  10. Stop buying Tesla. Make his stupid spacex and Tesla stock tank. Distract this weird gross ugly man.

  11. Because they need to actually step up and stop what is happening. Fulfill your oath to support and **defend** the constitution. Don’t just bend over and take it!

  12. It’s funny how Americans keep voting to strip Democrats of political power and also get mad at them for lacking the political power to do anything effective.

Americans deserve the dogshit government we have.

  13. Where are Bush, Clinton, Obama and Biden right now?! Aren’t they “Mr. President” for life? Why are they not putting a stop to this unprecedented allowance of Elon Musk to rifle through every branch of government without care or regard for people, law, or safety?

  14. It’s working. Keep going until we never have to hear a single one of these clowns drone on about bipartisanship with fascists ever again.

  15. Y’all need some heroes willing to go to jail to fight this.

    Democracy is at stake.

    Lives are at stake.

This ain’t a time for civility and words.

    The courts failed.

    The media failed.

    The DNC failed.

    The system failed.

    The voters failed.

  16. I’m here for it! Don’t let up, especially on our governors!

    Democratic Governors Must Act Now

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are not just taking over the Treasury—they are gutting the entire federal government and restructuring it for their own gain.

From USAID to NOAA, from the Department of Education to the DOJ, entire agencies are on the chopping block. Their plan is simple: strip the government down, enrich themselves, and leave the American people with the bill.

They are setting up a system where corporations rule, services are privatized, and citizens are left with national debt while billionaires walk away with the wealth.
[This video explains exactly how they’re doing it](https://youtu.be/5RpPTRcz1no?si=Y_B3FOD0druel3t4)

Democratic governors are our best firewall against this.

Democratic states control 70% of U.S. GDP.

Governors oversee key infrastructure and resources.

They command their own National Guard forces—for now.

Governors must form a Blue-State Emergency Coalition to stop this before it’s too late.

📢 Call or email your governor today. Demand action.

    Dear Governor,

I urge you to lead a coalition of Democratic Governors to counter the growing threat of federal overreach and deliberate government sabotage.

Elon Musk now controls the Treasury payment system, giving him unchecked power over federal funds. Meanwhile, Donald Trump and his allies are working to dismantle federal agencies—from USAID to the Department of Education—in order to enrich themselves and leave America as a hollowed-out husk.

We need a unified Blue-State Emergency Coalition to:
✅ Coordinate legal challenges against unconstitutional federal actions.
✅ Declare a collective State of Emergency to protect state resources.
✅ Refuse cooperation with unlawful federal directives.

This is not about partisanship—it’s about defending democracy and economic stability. We must act before it’s too late.

    Will you take action?

I look forward to your response.

📢 Take 30 seconds to act.

  17. It’s me! I called all of them today. I got through at all the offices! Probably will tomorrow too

  18. People also need to call the Republicans! Let them know they will be voted out if there are midterms again. This is insanity.

  19. This is the god damn core difference between Dem and GoP, Dem are spineless weaksauce, and GoP are backwards asswads.

When GoP losses and in minority, they use every trick in the book then invent some, from filibuster til infinity, voter supression to malicious sabotage. When they’re in the majority, they push aside everything to get to their goal.

When Dems losses and in minority, the bite the pillow and lube up. When they’re in the majority, they still go for the fking middle ground.

If that moral highground was as effective as Obi-wan’s, why in the shit do Dems lose so god damn much and often?

  20. I strongly disagree. At least 7,000,000 registered Dem’s decided to stay home in November, so they country that was voted for.

Let Trump do whatever he wants, let him run and let everyone see what they voted for. Maybe next time they won’t fall for his shit and they will vote in their own best interest, not that of the billionaires.

  21. If you didn’t vote or voted third party you have no cause to ask anything of the Democrats right now.

  22. If more people voted blue then Democrats wouldn’t need to “fight harder”. Democrats need to focus on winning more elections first.

  23. Shouldn’t just be calling democrats. Call Republicans in your state too. Make them scared to even answer the phone until this shit stops.

  24. We are the people. We need to step up and do what we can to HELP. I’ll be contacting my local Democratic party this weekend and looking for some volunteer opportunities myself.

  25. Yeah, I voted

40% of you sorry gits couldn’t be bothered to show up at the polls and now that you get the seriousness of the situation, you want *me* to go harder?

  26. I’ve written, emailed, called l, shown up at the local office, and protested today. Best I got from my dem reps was “we are working on a message” not even CONCEPTS OF A PLAN but a message. SMDH

  27. Let maga have everything they want. As a nation we deserve it. We’ll be better for it in the long run, when there can be no confusion that their ideas are terrible for the country.

  28. The supreme court give Trump a free pass do what whatever the hell he want no matter how corrupt or unlawful it is as long as he said the two magic words, “official act”. Seriously, I have no idea what any sane people can expect the democrat to do when they have no real power to stop anything Trump and his cronies are doing right now…

I am so sick an tire of all these feckless looser who scream and cries about how the democrat need to fight harder without giving any realistic and actionable plan to do so. Not to mentioned many of these assholes are the same people who refuse to vote Democrat because the party failed their purity test…

This country made the choice to allow Trump and Musk to shit down all of our face. Only real option now is to live with the consequences we choose for ourselves and make a different choice two year from now.

  29. [Murc’s Law](https://whereofonecanspeak.com/2023/03/02/youve-probably-never-heard-of-murcs-law-but-youve-seen-it-in-action-lots-of-times/) becoming ever stronger.

    From the link:

“Another instance is when it’s assumed that Democrats could have stopped Republicans from doing something bad if only they’d tried or tried harder or made stronger arguments. A commentator once [joked](https://www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/2017/12/great-moments-murcs-law):

‘… a few more BLISTERING speeches [from Democrats] and Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan would have totally realized that upper-class tax cuts are wrong!’

Headlines that obscure who did what are consistent with Murc’s Law. “Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, ending right to abortion upheld for decades” — no, it was Supreme Court Republicans who did that. “Out of 18 pro-democracy bills in 2022, the US Senate filibuster torpedoed 17 of them” — no, it was Senate Republicans who torpedoed them. “What could happen if Congress doesn’t raise the debt limit?” — no, what could happen if House Republicans don’t vote to raise it?”

  30. Democrats absolutely fucked up during the election, and will need to fight harder now. What I can’t stand are people who voted for Trump, or didn’t vote for Harris, now screaming at the Democrats to save them. When are you going lift your end of the couch?

  31. They had no problem begging us for $25 every hour, they should hear it from us when the entire country is being uprooted

  32. I tried calling my reps today and the lines were so busy the call failed numerous times.

  33. Call the Republicans, too! What is happening is unconstitutional and they should be fighting it.

  34. Seen this post a 1-2 days ago with a lady that wont vote with democrats because “it is a cabinet that willfully murders innocent civilians” and days later posting “why the fuck are democrats so silent?” Maybe YOU, the damn voter should have fought harder for you and others to vote, now enjoy consequences except this time is pretty serious .

  35. Well, they’ve got to act bloody fast. Remember that Hitler and the Nazis dismantled democracy in Germany in under 40 days after getting into power.

  36. Responses given reported to be “then get off your ass and help us”.
