2. Russia has had a demographic crisis for years (since the 1990s). This is nothing new.

4. The estimated population as of jan 1st 2025 (146,028,325) must include Crimea (around 2 mill). According to Worldometer Russias population merely stands at 144,325,200 as of today. They’ve skewed the numbers by including ukrainian lands. https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/russia-population/
