are you saying that if Labour were in power then the cost of living crisis would disappear? Because money doesn’t grow on trees, does it?
What are people going to do? Seriously? How the fuck is anyone going to be able to afford to live?
How stupid can humans be that we can’t even afford to live on our own planet with a basic lifestyle? It’s the bare minimum – food and energy. People are going to have to choose one or the other.
Freezing the income tax thresholds does indeed lead to more people paying the higher rate as wages rise.
But whenever they increase the tax thresholds it is always criticised as a tax break for the rich.
What are they supposed to do?
Lol only if we listened when a certain politician told us to nationalise energy companies! Ohh how we laughed….. to quote a cunt “whose laughing now”
Not much in the way of public assets to sell off as previous generations did most of that. Not sure the companies that control the private island of Britain have the welfare of its citizens at heart. Coupon-clipping of money laundering transactions in the City will always be a nice little earner for some. God help you if you’re in an industry that can’t compete against Indian and Chinese competition now that Britain is opening up to world markets fully. Still, Britain goes to war most decades so they might bring back conscription which will give young ‘uns something to do.
