I am Completely against DEI hires…what we should do is make healthcare, public education, grants/scholarships, ACT-SAT Tests and legal services 100% balanced to all minorities in this country. Until then, the things that minorities cannot get through the services we SHOULD provide must be counter balanced in some way. So I guess I’m not against DEI hires.

Imagine how much more capable the woman would have to be to be at the same level as the white guy in terms of qualifications and job experience.
Hiring her gets you much more than just what’s on the CV.
I had someone on the right try to tell me why should they be hobbled just because their great grandparents shot the other persons great grandparents in the knee. This person explaining it didn’t do anything so they shouldn’t be punished for it.
I tried to explain to them that even if they themselves didn’t do anything to this person, if you imagine a race where you get to start where your parents leave you at adulthood and they started where their parents left them, etc, by your great grandparents shooting their great grandparents in the knee, that left them ahead in that race and being ahead kept them ahead as the generations kept running leaving you far out ahead of these other people who are asking for help.
And these people don’t want to hobble you. They want a bike to catch back up. You might not be doing anything to them, but you are complaining that you never got a bike so why should they? And while that may be true, you are already ahead because of things that happened before you were born that you can’t see or understand. All you know is that you are running too and it doesn’t seem fair for someone else to get something if you don’t get it too.
Everyone needs to realize that this is the other way around.
The white man is so behind, that the path looks like the one on right. To the DEI hire that qualifies above, looks like the left.
This was not making it harder for colored people to get a job, but lowering the bar; That way white uneducated males can be given a chance of being hired by being brought into equation..forcibly. If you honor DEI, DOJ will investigate you lol.
Merit system will not benefit those like Greg Abbott.

Airline pilots have a really interesting case of DEI, but you wouldn’t realize that unless you sit down to learn the process of becoming an Airline pilot.
Here’s the short version: You know what’s a massive help in becoming an Airline pilot? If your pilot friend gives you access to their private plane. Just get a friend to loan you a plane! Easy! See how that could be a problem when projecting your hiring pool in the next 5 years?

Many people don’t even know that the E and DEI isn’t “equality” and even if they do, they don’t know what “Equity” is.
MOST people would agree that trying providing that providing everyone the same level of opportunity is a fair process. We do it every day in education when we provide appropriate resources for students with learning disabilities and those underperforming and honor students that are excelling.
Equal opportunity not Equal outcome
This is literally it in a nutshell lol
DEI initiatives are meant to establish an equitable opportunity for minority and associated people in several sectors of social and economic positions whole RETAINING standards and criteria for holding said positions.
White men just have it easier.

there aren’t any Nazis on the sideline
In the middle, there’s a poor white guy whose track difficulty is a lot closer to the black woman’s than it is to the rich guy… but the media teaches him to identify with his skin color instead of his class.
He also starts 3/4 of the way down the track already because his daddy knows the right people.
Even worse when you consider that legacy admissions to college is still a thing. If come from a wealthy family then you also have connections from your parents friends.
As a brown man myself, the path is exactly the same.
Can’t tell you how many times I see fellow brown and black people alike, put race in front of themselves. We arnt the color of our skin, and this isn’t the 50s. In fact now we’re the ones putting all these obstacles in the way of our fellow americans who weren’t even alive at the time and are not at fault.
People, dems, yall are literally using race to hold us back, you are, not us. I don’t use my mixed Soul Taco Bell self as an excuse to fail behind. When 90% of hood people are pushed down by other hood people or discouraged by others lighter skinned americans who think they know what best for your people.
The path is the same, DEI just makes us look bad by force hiring stupid fucking people looking for an easier job, and not the hard workers who actually put their asses on the line to be noticed as good workers and not black or brown.

And how the forced inclusion of token characters in games, movies, tv series, shows, the hiring policies of certain companies that excludes certain categories of people to favor only female gender, black and/or lgbtq people and the social media campaigns in this sense should promote DEI?
