Wait until Ketamine Elon sees this and hires someone in Asia to get him on top of that leaderboard
It is really stupid in a good way how much Dota 2 wins pay so much more than all other esports. Games like CS could have insane prizepools like that too but ig Valve has favorites lol

Topson is that guy. Hope he keeps playing after his military service
The Story of JerAx is on YT, it’s a great watch
Expected to see my man Serral but forgot how prize pools for TI were huge a few years ago.
With an asterisk that it’s based on tournament prize winnings, but yeah they managed to be around at a very good time when Dota 2 had crazy big price pools! But that’s kinda what this highlights, that Dota 2 had crazy big prize pools, and like someone else said, it’s not very healthy for the scene that most money is in a single tournament, and the gap between the first and the last team can be massive!
This also omits LoL because tournaments don’t pay that much but salaries and bonuses do, so some of the top Korean and Chinese pros would be up there. I also feel like surely there are some fighting game pros who should be on there?
