Ukraine news: ‘It’s unlikely but UK must prepare for Russian nuclear attack’

  1. Beyond building multiple bunkers how exactly can we prepare?

I suppose you can shoot down nuclear missiles whilst still in air, but that will just mean that they crash into the ocean and radioactive particles will still be in the air that blows towards us.

  2. Look, I’d rather die in a nuclear fire and radiation than having to shelter in Elephant and Castle tube station, that shit is nasty!

  3. Yeah no you’re alright given there is no preparing for that, it’s not like running a bath or hiding under the table helps.

  4. I was born at the tail end of the first cold war (87), but this is the first time I’ve ever actually been worried about the prospect of nuclear war…

  5. Even worse then the Cuban missile crisis of 1962, i wasn’t born then but it has similarities to it, just hope Putin’s inner circle get rid of him before it does that

  6. Fuck pootin. I’m prepared. Does your family or your country prepare for it? Let’s bring it on. Pootin you are psycho. I’m psychopath.

  7. So if the Oligarchs can’t have their luxurious homes in Londongrad – nobody else can either? Mind you if your bespoke luxury home insurance covers war and nuclear damage – they might actually make a bomb out of it…
*Thank you, you’ve been a great audience. I’ll just get my coat and leave.*

  8. IMHO best thing we could do is have an array of CRBN teams that can respond to the disaster area and help predict the fallout patterns and pass that information on to what is left of the government to evacuate citizens from those areas likely to be in the path of falling radioactive debris.

Next we should have dormant health teams that can, with the help of the army, construct nightingale hospitals in the field away from the fallout and help de-contaminate any survivors to reduce the long term effects of radiation exposure.

  9. Putin’s version of an Ink Spots classic is slightly changed. See if you notice it:

“I just want to set the world on fire”
