  8. I’d love this to be true but this is an old proposal by a Member of Parliament from when the height of the tariff hullabaloo was happening. Maybe they’ll revisit it in a few weeks if the US says its tariffs are back on but no indication of that yet

  22. Canadians are outraged by Trump purposely insulting us, calling our prime minister a governor, threatening to make us the 51st state, threatening us with Tarrifs. We are supposed to be allies. But this particular news is fake. Sure everyone hates that Nazi Musk, but we haven’t targeted him yet. We do have Tarrifs on Chinese cars though, so it does make sense to put Tarrifs on Chinese made teslas.

  24. The tariffs are on hold for now. It is good to see Canadian supermarket shelves removing US goods though. That, or clearly labeling the shelves so people know what’s Canadian and what’s US made.
