Takže nespĺňame kodanské kritériá a vlastne by EU iba profitovala, keby sme išli do <>? Asi začnem podporovať odchod z EÚ.
I live in the UK and Brexit was largely a mistake. There are reasons why even I as a migrant find it occasionally better, but economically it was largely a bad thing. This bad thing was made worse by UK political turmoil where they pushed for hard Brexit rather than make a sensible deal btw – that’s separate from the actual of leaving.
The UK is a larger trading nation with service economy and was a net donor within the EU. It has it’s own currency too. So now, if trump sanctions EU, the UK benefits slightly which is an affect of being out of EU and having Its own currency.
My motherland, Slovakia, is a net beneficiary with Euro. Making and running your own currency is not cheap… The effects of leaving EU would basically have no benefit to Slovakia, where as it gives some options to the UK.
So if you try to compare this to Brexit, don’t only think about the act of leaving but also remember that you also aren’t the UK and do not have the same options.

Vystupime, dame si ako defacto menu Americky dolar a budeme zit z turizmu a pestovania bananov. Dobre bude.

Ved to je presne pre takych ludi, co si myslia, ze z EU sa da vystupit premirovym rozhodnutim.
