So 4 mps from the reform party didnt attend. How many labour MPs missed the debate?
Yawn – where was this debate? The chamber or Westminster Hall? There are 5 of them and they cannot reasonably be expected to be everywhere. I saw a report earlier this week where an MP studiously asked the relevant minister about a burning issue in his constituency. Answer, there is a debate on that subject later and he did not turn up to it. What he did do, no doubt, is clip the question and tell his voters how hard he is working for them – plonker.
I was channel hopping a few days ago and landed on BBC Parliament, Angela Rayner was talking about scrapping local councils and ending voting, the chamber was practically empty. Every MP has a council.
The fact is that time and again few MPs turn up to debates – not just Reform ones, a lot of this are people who suffer from Brexit Derangement Syndrome or Farage Derangement Syndrome, no matter what Reform does the haters condemn it. I say, understand what the drivers are behind their surge of popularity, fix the issues they are milking rather than howling at the moon and them
Try talking about vaccine harm no one turns up then either.

Can anyone point me to where this information exists publicly. I’d love to scrape it and turn it into a website that maybe even posts to socials about attendance via API.
It would be fun to keep a running dashboard with some reports, such as MP time spent in attendance with an overall time, giving a percentage. Then party time in attendance, or percentage of party in attendance.
This isn’t just reform it’s been an issue with all parties for decade bit desperate to try and imply it’s only reform and labour and tories have been in charge for fuckin years and have done fuck all to protect children and females so bit rich to start bragging now

Is it any surprise? This is a party with a convicted policewoman beater, Ant Middleton, suggesting he’ll run as their Mayor of London candidate which would mean he’s responsible for overseeing policing and reducing violence against women as the head of MOPAC. A man sentenced to two years in prison, who only served 4 months, thinks he should be in charge of the very people he’s convicted of assaulting and abusing.
He’s also a man who isn’t and never has been a Londoner and who now lives in Dubai. A man who attends Reform conferences to tell everyone that Christian values are key to Britain. A man who said, as an immigrant and convict himself, he would “close the borders”. A man who complained Britain wasn’t British enough for him as he relocated to the United Arab Emirate.
Let’s also not forget reform had to drop over 100 candidates in the general election for criminality and bigotry.
They’re all at home throwing Stella cans at their 3rd wives and stubbing fags out on their kids.
There’s 4 of them… And there were far greater numbers of missing MPs from all parties…
Why is reddit full of so many ultra leftists, you hate reform but prefer what? Labour? They are useless. You claim the country is a shit hole and on it’s knees but who has consistently being in power? Labour and the Conservatives, they are the ones responsible for the mess this country is in, reform may or may not be the answer but I’d vote for them over the previous two who have consistently failed the country and not delivered on anything they have said.

Reform and Farage are the George Galloways of the right wing. They pop up, take advantage of some discontent, get elected, do nothing, the voters realise they’ve been had and kick them out at the next election.
