  1. Warlords want to control minerals and enrich themselves but not the people. The story of Africa😢

  2. You can not say you are leading a country when you can't secure it from both internal and external threats … congo is still in a very, very dark period of it's history, just as her neighbor central Africa republic

  3. Please help me as a visitor to DRC to understand. So an "ethnic group seeks recognition". To gain recognition it kills other Congolese and destroys their livelyhoods in Goma. Then Goma citizens plunder other businesses for a short sighted respite. Then this "ethnic group" continues to march 190 km to Bukavu and 2 600 km to Kinshasa, to traumatize 450 other fellow Congolese ethno linguistic groups. Then big Africa leaders have two big meetings in Zimbabwe, at tremendous expense (that could have fed the 400 000 recently displaced refugees and new teaumatised refugees in Goma). The world focus redirects to a passenger plane and helicopter that crashed in the USA. The DRC remains plundered and traumatised. Fascinating stuff!

  4. Goma basically sits on the outer rim of several very active stratovolcano's, which have erupted with devastating consequences in very recent decades.

  5. In Uganda there are so many Rwandan speaking people, but they are consider as Ugandans. Congo has refused to recognise the Banamulenge as Congolese, yet that is their ancestral home from generation. If Congo doesn't want to be associated with these people, let them allowed to create theirs own independent Country and have new boundaries with Congo. All this is a mess by the colonialists who divided Africa from Berlin without consideration who belongs to which part of land. There are people in Uganda in the district of kasese who look and speak like Congolese but they can't be send back to Congo because they are Ugandans. That’s what Congo ought to do as well, instead of killing these people, and you expect them not to defend themselves against FDLR and Congolese Army? The international community should be ashamed that they are ignoring the real issue at hand and instead are blaming Rwanda for protecting innocent civilians(Tutsi) being tortured by the Congolese government that hired mercenaries from South Africa and Romania to fight alongside them in trying to chase people out of their ancestral land. I am not even from that part from Africa, but if called for the war against Congo, I will fight alongside with M23.
