  2. My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer at 70 and refused to have a mastectomy. The cancer ended up spreading to her bones and she suffered greatly for over 5 years – lost her ability to walk as the cancer ate away at her hips. No matter what age you are your life is more important than your tits.

  3. My wife just had a double even though only one had the cancer. She didn’t want to risk it or feel lopsided and unhappy with her future body. She’s happy and healthy now and I’m happy for her.

  4. My older sister lost one of hers to C 2 years ago. Everyone can see/hear the change in her demeanor. Waiting for the real wife/mom/grandmother to return. Various attempts have been made to reach her, including me, telling her more or less what Sykes espouses, but it hasn’t worked as yet
