Record January heat suggests La Niña may be losing its ability to keep global warming in check

1. It’s over we lost. We should still do everything we can to reduce emissions as much as possible, but all that will really accomplish is mitigate the apocalypse. The ball is rolling, and it’s picking up speed. We had our chance to make things right, and we blew it.
