  1. >“But I’m very clear as the leader of the opposition and leader of the Labour party, that when it comes to standing up to Russian aggression and standing in support of Ukraine, it’s very important in the UK and in our politics that we show the world that we’re united.

    >“And therefore whatever other challenges and frustrations and criticisms I have of the prime minister, and I’ve got many, on this issue there is unity and it’s very important we demonstrate that unity.”

Absolutely garbage headline – literally not true.

  2. So thats Labour giving up on partygate then and the polls will be returning to normal.

All Labour managed to gain from this was one bad MP.

    What a waste.

  3. Partygate and being in the pocket of Russians should have sunk the tories but no starmer decides to miss a open goal. Labour under him has no intention of being in power

  4. Unity isn’t keeping an oaf of a security risk in charge, particularly one with obvious Russian influence while we’re in a tense spot against Russia.

A rubber duck can do a better job to unite the country in positivity than Boris, considering his remit is to divide and create a country of resentment..

  5. I had to rub my eyes and read it again. From ‘unfit to govern’ (BJ) to ‘we’ll make Brexit work..’ to this. He gave up.

  6. This isn’t missing an open goal. It would look really bad for the opposition to be pressing party gate at the moment. Especially considering the whole thing will be whitewashed and take months to unpick.
