After two intense semi-finals, the journey to Eurovision 2025 reaches its climax in Malta as the MESC 2025 Grand Final takes place tonight! The Mediterranean island is set to choose its representative for Basel, with 16 artists competing for the coveted ticket to the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.

MESC 2025 – Format

Malta’s national selection, MESC 2025, has followed a three-show format:

Semi-Final 1 – February 4th
Semi-Final 2 – February 6th
Grand Final – February 8th

A total of 24 acts competed in the two semi-finals.
The top 8 from each semi-final advanced to the Grand Final, forming tonight’s line-up of 16 finalists.
The winner of MESC 2025 – and Malta’s representative for Eurovision 2025 – will be determined through a 50/50 voting system:

50% jury vote
50% public vote (via tele-voting and SMS)
