  1. It’s not for his wife specifically. They are giving the deadline so they can properly plan candidates for every constituency in the next general election

  2. A bunch of defects from tories to reform could work well for the tories this far out from election. Badenochs’ attempts at appeasing reform supporters will be futile against an american funded soundbite machine. I suspect she’ll eventually lose the support of backbenchers and they’ll look for a more centrist leader.

  3. Just when I had forgotten this waste of spuds was alive.

  4. Jesus I hope this mess of far right morons doesn’t get in

  5. The right is eating It’s self. I think Reform is still too unpalatable for a big chunk of lifetime tories, so it might help labour cling to a (probably lesser) majority next election.

  6. I hear they’re big fans of husbands telling their wives what to do over at Reform

  7. Does anyone else have this weird nostalgia for when conservative politics were a bit more.. normal?

I’ve always been a filthy lefty, but I could at least see what Tories were about and even agree with some of their policies, even if I disagreed on their overarching ideology.

Now it’s just weird fights about weird pseudo issues you can’t even really argue with because most of them are just based on nonsense. Their entire party is just based around “do the opposite to labour” and then just dredge up weird shit Elon musk might pick up on.

In a lot of ways they are less coherent than reform at this point and they at least have the , somewhat hollow but still, excuse of having to scratch together their manifesto at the last minute.
