  1. It seems almost inevitable, the way Trump is going full tilt, to upend every possible aspect of our government.
    I don’t see the Republicans and Democrats compromising on anything.

  2. Agreed, why would the Democrats make a deal with the Republicans when this so called “DOGE” can turn around cut anything they don’t like? If I were a Democratic senator or member of Congress I’d condition any deal on the elimination of “DOGE” and a reversal of all actions they’ve taken. Constitutional order must be restored and Congress has the power of the purse.

  3. This is going to be a Catch-22 for Democrats. I’m sure that DOGE would love for a protracted government shutdown. What better way to force federal workers to resign than cutting off their paychecks indefinitely?

  4. Since the Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House as long as everyone toes the Republican party line how would the Democrats be able to stop anything? Sorry if that’s a dumb question.
