My dad worked for this firm for 25 years but had moved on from them about 10 years ago.
Roadbridge and Pat Mulcair had employed a nice chunk of the Limerick area over the decades.
An opportunity for the government to buy up a large infrastructure construction company on the cheap?
How the fuck is a construction company going bust in a country with a serious lack of housing?
Direct labour force of 1,600 employees, sites across Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. This definitely came as a surprise. Workers were sent home on Thursday with the sites being packed up. Shame the buyer fell through.
