God, I hope he immediately stops payment on all Medicare and SS payments. Boomers have disproportionately been Republicans most of their lives and many think, “Well, all of these cuts won’t affect me!” My thought, “Then why the fuck are you supporting them?” But, I’d love for them to get a small taste of what they wanted. It seems most of them dislike Republican policies if they are actually impacted, directly, by them.

Ah yes, Gen Z, the generation most likely to get scammed on the internet (nope, it’s not Boomers! It’s them!), are excellent judges of character and not out of their depth at ALL when confronted with the Byzantine inner-workings of our federal government. Drawing on their vast repository of knowledge and lived experience culled from 4 years of high school and maybe 2 years of college, they and they alone are uniquely qualified to carry out these duties. And the more rapidly they make their assessments, the better, because snap judgments are always the best kind of judgments, especially when the health and safety of hundreds of millions of people is on the line.
Personally, I too would get “tounge-tied” if a 19 year old with a broccoli haircut barged into my office without identifying himself and demanded that I justify my entire existence to him in three minutes or less, but… maybe that’s just me.

Over 70 million Americans voted for Kamala. That’s a lot of potentially pissed off people.
The Trump regime’s playing a dangerous game and it feels like something’s gotta give.
What I don’t understand is why federal government managers are allowing Musk who isn’t a Congress approved federal employee, or DOGE which isn’t a Congress approved federal department, into the building.
Presumably all federal government offices have a lobby, with some sort of security. The managers must all instruct security to notify them when Musk/DOGE arrives and hold them outside the building. Managers must then contact all of the media they can, along with the local (not federal) police.
Once the media arrive and are set up and live streaming, and police have arrived and set up, managers must go out and ask Musk/DOGE what they want. Ask Musk/DOGE to give you the names of everyone there, and why they are there, making sure the media are broadcasting it, turn to the police and pointing at Musk/DOGE, make the following statement:
“Since they are not Congress approved employees of the government of the US, and do not represent any Congress approved department of the US government, they have no authority or jurisdiction to enter this building. Please remove or arrest them for attempted illegal entry, vandalism, and causing a disturbance in a federal government office.”
Then turn to the media and make the following statement:
“Just now the following people (list the names) have attempted to illegally enter, vandalize, and disrupt the normal operations of these federal government offices (name the office). I will not allow anyone who is not supposed to be here to do that.”
Then answer any questions the media has as long as they want.
Note: If Musk/DOGE presents any letter claiming to have authority from the president, simply reply, “Everyone knows how to use Photoshop. Come back when you have made an official request for an official appointment with my administrator.”
Trusting Trump and Musk to find and root out corruption is like trusting Harvey Weinstein to head up a sexual assault survivor’s shelter.
